Sometimes things are just crap
My bloody thermos is crap and my tea has started to taste of chemicals, so I'm not using it anymore...not been jogging in 6 days now either... Decided to give my ankle a break from being permanently swollen for 3 weeks and now I have a stinking cold! Having a cold is so shit....it's like when you don't have a cold and someone else does you think, "What a pussy! Get over it!" and then when you have one the world comes to an end and you feel really sorry for yourself and think that no one believes you're actually ill or you're playing it up. And then I get paranoid about work and missing out on stuff I should be doing and I feel incredibly guilty for being ill! Oh I should just get over myself...hopefully I'll actually be able to sleep tonight and fingers crossed I am ok tomorrow morning...otherwise I have the joys of daytime TV to look forward to...joy of joys...think I'd rather crawl under the bed and die! No, ok, enough of feeling sorry for myself...I'll get over it.

Living in London
Oh of all the things I've missed since leaving London these have to be the top ones: - friends (you know who you are) - cinema (oh yes...and the film festival in Oct-Nov) - the FEEL of London...knowing where I belong...knowing the city...being HOME - being able to walk out the door and see another world within a city, every day...it never gets boring! - being able to walk all day and not utter a word to anyone. In a city that big, with that many people, it's still easy to stay anonymous if you want. - the culture, the food, the sites Bad things - IT'S BLOODY EXPENSIVE and the tube sucks during peak times and in summer.....ah well.....

	Sammy Hi. Your flat sounds fab and i'm so pleased for you about your job - you deserve it! RTW BBQ was great fun (although I was a bit hungover)- there was a bouncy castle that was big enough for adults so I spent about an hour on that - not good after a few bottles of beer tho. We are off to Portugal end Sep with Dave, Vicky, Beth, Stuart, Ross & Gill so I'm really looking forward to that. It feels like about a year since I was away, even though it was only January.
